Bright Lantern Children’s Bookshop is an independent children’s bookstore available for pop up events and online ordering, based out of Willow Spring, NC. We started Bright Lantern Children’s Bookshop to create a trusted space where parents and educators can find quality children’s books and educational toys. In a world overflowing with products, it can be difficult to know which ones are truly worthwhile. We thoughtfully curate a collection of new and used books that spark curiosity and wonder in children, leading to new adventures and discovery. Alongside our book selections, we offer educational toys, puzzles, games, crafts, and other activities that complement the themes in our collection, adding a hands-on element to the reading experience and helping children connect what they read to the world around them. We would love to one day open up a bricks and mortar retail store near Fuquay-Varina, NC so we can offer the local community a space for families to read, play, and discover together.

Mission

Our mission at Bright Lantern Children’s Bookshop is to spark a love of reading in children and shine hope into the community. We partner with nonprofits, homeschool communities, churches, educators, and families to make quality books accessible to all.  Through pop-up events, mobile story times, and fundraisers our goal is to share books that uplift, educate, and foster connections. We believe that every child deserves to have access to stories that shine a light into their world. 

Free Little Libraries

Bright Lantern Children’s Bookshop is committed to helping children discover stories that bring light, imagination, and disco very into their lives. One way we do this is by stocking Little Free Libraries around our community with gently loved children’s books, along with occasional new book surprises.
