A chance to browse through and purchase books, games, puzzles, and other educational toys from our collection.

Monday-Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm

We are willing to to travel within a 35 mile radius of Fuquay-Varina, NC. Please contact us to see if we are available in your area.

What will we bring?

At our pop-ups you will find a curated collection of books, games, puzzles, and educational toys.

Includes:

  • Large selection of new and used books based on number of attendees and desired age range.

  • Games, puzzles, and other educational toys based on number of attendees and desired age range.

  • We currently carry books from the following publishers: HarperCollins Macmillan, Hachette Book Group, Penguin Random House LLC, Simon & Shuster, EDC Publishing, Sourcebooks, Macmillan Publishers, and Chronicle Books.

  • If requested, we have a selection of used homeschool curriculum.

Book Requests

With at least 30 days notice we can order specific titles or a small curated collection of books and educational toys that align with a particular theme for your event, all subject to availability. There is a small fee for book requests based on order size. Please email meredith@brightlanternbookshop.com to inquire about book requests.

Supporting Non-Profits

We are always looking for opportunities to support local non- profits. Here are few ways your event can choose to help out.

  • Donate 10% of sales from the event to a children’s or literacy focused non-profit of your choice.

  • Book and/or Toy Drive (We provide a donation bin and attendees can bring gently-used books from home or purchase books to donate to a local non-profit)
